ctHelixOne

About

We build the tools we wanted in the field.

ctHelixOne™ exists because real operations — full-time municipal agencies, 24/7 dispatch centers, multi-day events, backup deployments, security details, EMS services — deserve a production-grade alternative to seven-figure enterprise contracts and ad-hoc spreadsheet workflows. We’re building the full operations spine: CAD, RMS, and field mobile on one hardened backbone.

Why we built it

Production-grade operations software, within reach of every agency.

Enterprise CAD is priced and architected for a procurement cycle, not for the operations that need it most. Ad-hoc spreadsheet workflows collapse under real load and produce nothing you’d want to defend in an after-action review. The full operations spine — CAD, RMS, and field mobile on one backbone — should be within reach of every agency that runs real public safety work, not just the ones with seven-figure procurement budgets. So we’re building it, to production-grade standards, with the security primitives every framework expects.

We use this software ourselves. We’ve run it at field command posts and on the EOC table. We know what it should feel like at 0200 when the radio is busy, the coffee is cold, and the next call is already on its way.

Philosophy

Three rules that govern every release.

Scoped to operators

Every feature exists because a real operator needed it. If we can’t name the person who asked, it doesn’t ship.

No lock-in

Your data is yours. Always. Standard SQL, standard formats, encrypted at rest — we plan for the day you might leave.

Predictable engineering

Production-grade, well-understood technology. The kind your IT and security teams already trust. No proprietary mesh, no unique-snowflake stack.

The team

Built by engineers and operators who have actually run dispatch.

The people who design this software have stood watch at field command posts and on the EOC table. That’s the bar for everything we ship: would the version of us standing watch at 0200 trust this enough to bet the operation on it?
